Job Description – Picker
A Picker is responsible for selecting and collecting products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. The role ensures accurate order fulfilment and timely preparation of items for packing and dispatch.
Job Duties:
Pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner instructions.
Check product codes, quantity, and condition before picking.
Place picked items in the designated packing or dispatch area.
Assist with packing and preparing orders for shipment if required.
Use handheld scanners or warehouse systems to update order status.
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.
Follow safety procedures and meet daily picking targets.
Nice to have
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
